To champion the welfare, rights, and development of security guards in Alberta, ensuring equitable opportunities, dignified working conditions, and a voice in shaping public policies for the betterment of the profession.
Purpose
1) To promote Safe work environment for security guards
2) To advocate for fair compensation, that is living wage.
3) To support the creation of paid sick leave policy for security guards across Alberta
4) To facilitate Life Insurance program.
5) To promote pension benefits
6) To facilitate and promote training opportunities related to occupation, health and safety, self defense, conflict resolution and professional development
7) To provide mental health support
8) To address work Place harassment and abuse
9) To represent security guards in public policy making
10) To organize and implement community welfare projects on as need basis.
